wish list
    1.  Camera equipment for research volunteers and Botswana
Department of Wildlife & National Parks officers assisting on
the Meyer's Parrot Project.  We see so many amazing things during
our research and, if we had more photographic equipment, we could
use the photos for newspaper and magazine articles.  Photo and film
welcome!!  Central to conservation is awareness...central to awareness
    is beautiful images...

    2.  Off-road vehicle for use at Vundumtiki Parrot Research
Camp.  We are currently using a 1972 Series II LandRover, which has
been amazing, but corporate sponsorship from LandRover or any other
manufacturer willing to take on the wilderness of the Okavango Delta
would be much appreciated.  We expect our media coverage to increase
this coming field season, thus giving sponsors and manufacturers
considerable visibility.  Also, you will be really helping us.

    3.  Old or new laptop computers for the research station and for
local conservation specialists.  I work with numerous wildlife
conservation professionals in Botswana and southern Africa, and at
least 80% of them do not have access to a computer, even though
they are computer literate.  We need to support these dedicated
people by making the internet and word processing available to
them.  Corporate or private sponsorship is very welcome.

    4.  Old or new binoculars and spotting scopes.  The eyes of the
local communities members who have assisted me over the years
have always amazed me, but they could always use assistance;).

Contact us for more information...on how to contribute, local and
international mailing addresses, and a list of beneficiaries for donated
items.  Our priorities right now are the off-road vehicle and getting the
local wildlife officers equipped with binoculars, cameras and bird
    guides*.
